Cancer vaccine provides to two lakh students

In Brahmanbaria, about two lakh students and girls will be vaccinated against cervical cancer. The first dose HVP vaccination program will run from October 24 to November 24. This program has been undertaken to reduce the risk of adolescent and maternal mortality.

On this occasion, an exchange meeting was held between civil surgeons and journalists at Brahmanbaria civil surgeon's office yesterday afternoon. Civil surgeon Dr Noman Mia said in the discussion meeting, one lakh 91 thousand 206 fifth to ninth class students studying in 2496 educational institutions of nine upazilas and municipalities of the district will be given one dose each. Later, 11 thousand 228 out-of-school girls aged 10 to 14 will be vaccinated through 306 permanent and temporary vaccination centers. At this time, it is also said that for vaccination, you have to go to a specific website and register with online birth registration. If your school name is not found while registering, you can enter the name of the nearest school. Tikacard should be printed and brought to the center.

Press Club President Javed Rahim Bijan, General Secretary Baharul Islam Mollah, Medical Officer of Civil Surgeon Office Dr Shobhan Chandra Saha spoke in the exchange meeting moderated by Medical Officer of Civil Surgeon Office Mahmudul Hasan.
