Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has organized a training workshop with the leaders of Jatiyatabadi Chatra Dal (JCD) on '31 points to repair the state structure'. The workshop was held at BNP chairperson's Gulshan office in the capital on last Wednesday afternoon.
JCD Vice-President Anwar Parvez, Joint General Secretary Sarkar Jasim Uddin Samrat, and Joint Secretary Nur Alam came to Magura district on November 2 in continuation of the campaign.
Central JCD leaders are going to talk to the students of different schools and colleges in Magura. Leaders of the anti-discrimination student movement in Magura offered fateha at the graves of Shaheed Mehedi Hasan Rabbi and Shaheed Sohan, who were shot dead during the anti-discrimination student movement.
Meanwhile, the central leaders are passing busy time in conducting the party campaign from 10 am to 4 pm in coordination with the local leaders of Magura. Hossain Shaheed Suhrawardy College, Polytechnic College, Adarsha College, Siddiqia Alim Madrasa, Sreepur Degree College, Bangabandhu College, Nakol Sammilani College, Arpara College, Shalika College, Mohammadpur College and many other educational institutions of the district are campaigning simultaneously.
Former president of Magura district Chhatra Dal Abdur Rahim and several leaders and activists of the municipality and upazila are assisting them in this work.
Abdur Rahim, former president of Magura district JCD, said a free, fair, neutral and participatory election is needed to return the rights and ownership of the state to the people. And after this victory, the consensus national government should undertake transformational reforms in the state in the light of the 31 points.
