A child named Samira Akhtar (2) died after falling into bucket water in Gobindganj Upazila of Gaibandha. The accident took place in Malancha village of Shibpur union of the upazila around 6 pm last Saturday.
The deceased Samira Akhter is the daughter of Sujan Mia of that village. Relatives said that the child's parents were busy threshing paddy. Accidents happen due to their ignorance. At that time Chhamira was playing Aktar. In the meantime, the child drowned in the water of the bucket near the tubewell of the house without everyone's knowledge.
In this regard, Shibpur Union Parishad (UP) member Rokan Akand said that a child died after falling into bucket water in the area. Everyone should be careful in such accidents.
