DMP Joint Commissioner Biplab’s house vandalized

An angry crowd attacked the house of Biplab Kumar Sarkar, Joint Commissioner of Police (Admin & Intelligence-South) of Dhaka Metropolitan Detective (DB) Police in Kishoreganj. Biplab Kumar's house was attacked and vandalized in Kharampatti area of ​​the district town on Monday afternoon.

After hearing the news of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's resignation, people from all walks of life took out a victory procession in Kishoreganj. At that time they attacked Kishoreganj Model Police Station and vandalized it.

When a car patrolling the army asked the protesters to move, they moved away. Later, the angry crowd attacked, vandalized and looted the house of former President Abdul Hamid. They set fire to the houses of different people.

A number of Awami League leaders including former President Md Abdul Hamid, District Awami League Senior Joint General Secretary Syed Ashfaqul Islam Titu, District Farmers League General Secretary Anwar Hossain Bacchu, District Chhatra League President Md Anwar Hossain Molla Sumon and General Secretary Md Fayez Uman Khan’s house attacked, vandalized and set fire to the houses of leaders and activists of Chhatra League and affiliated organizations.

In the second round, they vandalized and set fire to the multi-storied residence of Awami League Joint General Secretary Syed Ashfaqul Islam Titu. The agitators also vandalized and set fire to the Firoza Clinic and residence of former President Abdul Hamid's brother-in-law Dr Naushad Khan.
