The winter clothes (blanket) distribution program has been successfully completed in Kishoreganj under the initiative of 'Durbar Generation'.
At the initiative of Durbar Generation, 111 blankets were distributed yesterday at 11 am to stand by the helpless people of Boulai, Sadar Upazila and surrounding areas at the beginning of winter. Special priority has been given to the disabled, elderly, beggars and orphans among the beneficiaries.
This program was held at the premises of Patdha Nayapara Government Primary School adjacent to Boulai Union Parishad.
Present at the event were Mahfuzur Rahman Sohag, founder director of Durbar Generation, Rakib Ahmed Meraj, head of the organization, Zahirul Islam, head of the Warmth Program and Disaster and Relief Branch.
Heads of other branches of the organization (Health and Medicine, Sports, Education, Human Welfare, Employment, Drugs and Corruption, Forest and Environment, Law and Human Rights) were also present.
Director Md Mahfuzur Rahman Sohag said, “Durbar Generation will always continue its humanitarian activities to ensure the active participation of the current generation in post-people’s uprising Bangladesh.”
Head of the organization, Rakib Ahmed Meraj, in his speech, “I seek everyone’s cooperation in realizing the dream of social change with the youth and the youth community.”
