Fire Service signs MoU to Directorate of Primary Education

Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed by Directorate of Primary Education with Department of Fire Service and Civil Defense to strengthen fire safety in primary educational institutions.

Director General (DG) of Department Fire Service and Civil Defense Brigadier General Md Main Uddin, BSP (Bar), NDC, PSC, G, M Phil and Director General (DG) of Directorate of Primary Education Shah Rezwan Hayat signed the Memorandum of Understanding on behalf of both institutions on Sunday at 3 PM in the conference room of Directorate of Primary Education.

In terms of the MoU signed, the Fire Service and Civil Defense will periodically provide fire safety training to students and teachers of government primary schools across the country and the Directorate of Primary Education will arrange for the installation of fire safety equipment in those institutions. The DG of both institutions spoke at the MoU signing ceremony.

DG of Directorate of Primary Education, Shah Rezwan Hayat, in his speech expressed sincere thanks to the DG of Fire Service, including the DG of Fire Service, for their cooperation in this important work.

DG of Fire Service and Civil Defense said in his speech, "The future of our future Bangladesh is those who are the primary students today. One day the leadership of Bangladesh will be in their hands. Honorable Prime Minister announced the vision of Smart Bangladesh in 2041; At that time, today's elementary students will be part of the important activities of the country. I am hopeful that Bangladesh's security system will be much more reliable and strong if they can be trained as suitable citizens by imparting fire safety training to them."

In the MoU signing ceremony, Director (Administration) SM Ansaruzzaman and Director (Planning and Development) Mohammad Mizanur Rahman, Director (Training, Planning and Development) of Fire Service and Civil Defense Lt. Col. Md Rezaul Karim, PSC and others Senior officials were present.
