The half-yearly review meeting of Bangladesh Nari Pragati Sangha Enam Nahar Mor Branch Community Forum was held yesterday.
President Master Abul Kashem Shilpi presided over the meeting. Bangladesh Nari Pragati Sangha Sandwip Region Chief Shamsuddin spoke at the seminar moderated by the forum's general secretary Ataul Hakim.
The meeting discussed the doctrine of equality of men and women, property rights, prevention of child marriage, right to education, equal wages in the workplace, maternity leave, domestic violence, various types of sexual harassment, prevention of eve teasing, prevention of arbitration activities and making village courts oriented.
