‘I wish for Jannah by police job’

Jashore's new Superintendent of Police Masud Alam considers police work as a form of worship. He said that he wanted to go to Jannah by serving in the police.

He said this while talking to reporters at the Jashore District Superintendent of Police office last Wednesday afternoon. The new SP said that the list of terrorists will come to us, we will verify and work according to that list. It doesn't matter if the terrorists are black or white.

He said, journalists are the mirror of society. Police and journalists are mutually supportive. We can make Jashore a district of peace and comfort, if you help us. With the help of journalists, Jashore can be freed from drugs, terrorism and teenage gangs.

Jashore Press Club President Zahid Hasan Tukun, former President Ekram-ud-Ddaula, District Newspaper Parishad General Secretary Mobinul Islam Mobin, Jashore Press Club General Secretary Tauhidur Rahman, Manab Zamin Staff Reporter Nur Islam, Jashore Journalist Union President Akramuzzaman, Journalist SM Farhad, Monotosh Basu, HR Tuhin, Sakirul Kabir Riton of DBC TV, Jewel Mridha of Somoy TV were present among others in the exchange meeting.

It should be noted that Md Masud Alam joined Jessore as Superintendent of Police on July 8. Earlier, he served in Madaripur.
