A memorial meeting was held in memory of the injured and martyrs in the student-public uprising in July-August 2024 in the presence of their family members.
The memorial meeting was held yesterday morning at the Burichang Upazila Model Mosque Conference Room.
The discussion meeting, chaired by Upazila Nirbahi Officer Sahida Akhter, was attended by Assistant Commissioner Bhumi Sonia Haque, Burichong Upazila Health Officer Dr Mir Hossain Mithu, Burichong Police Station Officer-in-Charge Azizul Haque, Burichang Upazila Engineer Alif Ahmed Akshar, Upazila Secondary Education Officer Abdul Mannan, Primary Education Officer Fauzia Akhter, Burichang Rural Electricity Office DGM Hafizur Rahman, Upazila Social Service Officer Kabir Hossain, Youth Development Officer Shahedul Alam Chowdhury, Burichong Press Club President Kazi Khorshed Alam, Student Movement Coordinator Tariqul Islam Pias, Md. Chabbir, Tanim and other officials from various departments.
Present at the memorial meeting were Saidul Islam, Mamun Mia, Enamul Gazi, Firoz Mia, Junaid Gazi, Fardin Faraz, Rafi, Shahjalal, Sourav Chakraborty and Ariful Islam, among those injured in the student uprising in July-August 2024.
