Rangamati's Rajasthali Upazila administration has organized a memorial meeting in memory of those killed and injured in the mass uprising of students in the July Revolution.
The meeting was held yesterday at the Rajasthali Upazila Parishad conference room under the chairmanship of Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Sajeeb Kanti Rudra.
Student Coordinator Halamong Marma, Upazila Chhatra Dal Convener Naimul Islam Roni, Rajasthali Press Club President Azgar Ali Khan, Jamaat President Maulana Farid Ahmed, Upazila BNP President Master Khalilur Rahman Sheikh, Rajasthali Thana Officer-in-Charge Iqbal Bahar Chowdhury, Upazila Food Officer Bhanu Prabha Tripura, Upazila Engineer Anubh Kumar Barua, Agriculture Officer Shahria Biswas and others spoke as special discussants in the meeting.
At that time, officials, employees of various departments of the upazila administration, journalists, and political figures were present. Before the discussion meeting, a minute's silence was observed in memory of the injured and martyrs of the August 5 student-public uprising.
