On the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, Saraspur Ar-Rahman Islami Foundation (SAIF) of Kodalia Union No 6 under Mollahat Upazila of Bagerhat has distributed Iftar items to more than 167 families.
The items distributed among local helpless, poor and distressed family members included 1 kg of sugar, gram, puffed rice (muri), chira, potato, dates, onion, salt and 1 liter of soybean oil per person.
Last Sunday, members of the organization distributed Iftar items at Saraspur Bazar.
Didarul Islam, the president of the organization said that it is our little efforts for the people of the area. In future, we keen on enlarging out humanitarian activities. We are trying to registered the foundation. If this is complete, then we will be able to covering at a great extent.
It is to be noted that `Saraspur Ar-Rahman Islami Foundation` is an organization formed by citizens of all classes and professions from different areas. This social organization has been carrying out various social welfare activities for the past few years and eager to continue the social activities to form a discrimination free Bangladesh.
