People suffers for chaotic parking

- Temporary shops evacuated from both sides

- Heavy trucks move during the day

- The examinees suffer

- Regular accidents occur

The main road of island upazila Moheshkhali of Cox's Bazar is gradually being occupied on both sides and the public suffering is increasing in extreme form due to parking everywhere. Many people lost their lives due to the car. A traffic jam at Baramoheshkhali New Market yesterday blocked the road for 30 minutes. Moheshkhali can be seen as the way of travel of four and a half lakh people of Moheshkhali, from Gorokghata to Badarkhali Bridge, most of the roads have been seen to be occupied by the construction of shack shops on both sides and various kinds of goods shop. In the evening, the nearby fish market sits on the road and is crowded with buyers. Traffic jams are created by local vehicles on the 17-foot road. It is alleged that the trucks carrying various goods from outside Moheshkhali enter without hindrance day and night, along with the movement of soil and sand dumpers, there is a big jam, starting from the office to the court, and the candidates are facing great difficulty in reaching the exam center at the right time. Even as the road was closed due to jam, many candidates got out of their cars and went to the examination center on foot. Several students and common people were victims of road accidents in Maheshkhali last 2 years. After that, there was a lot of writing and human chain.

As a result, the then Moheshkhali Upazila Nirbahi Officer Muhammad Yashin imposed a ban on the movement of goods trucks or dumpers carrying sand and soil before 10 pm. After he left, these things are no longer accepted. As a result, shack shops have been built on both sides of the main road. Besides, there is car parking everywhere. Also before 10 pm any kind of big vehicles are moving freely. Maheshkhali residents want to get rid of these sufferings.

They have requested the concerned authorities to evacuate the floating shops built on both sides, remove scrub materials, stop car parking everywhere and ban any kind of large vehicle movement before 10 pm. Moheshkhali Upazila Nirbahi Officer (Acting) and Assistant Commissioner Land Mr Tashbir Hossain said that the ban on the movement of dumpers and large trucks carrying sand and soil before 10 pm is still in place as before. Besides, I have conducted two operations against road encroachment or traffic congestion. Evacuation operations will be conducted ahead, no one will be exempted from occupying government roads.
