Kishoreganj Railway Senior Sub-Assistant Engineer Rezaul Karim and Railway Sramik League Organizing Secretary Sohel Rana have been accused of corruption.
The human chain was held on the premises of Kishoreganj Railway Station around 11:30 am on Wednesday.
At that time, the speakers accused Engineer Rezaul Karim of selling various equipment and goods including old dogsfry, dockppin, cutlery from Kishoreganj Railway godown at different times. Engineer Rezaul Karim has been accused of creating internal chaos on various issues by using the influence of Awami League.
Sohel Rana, the temporary hairman and the current organizing secretary of the Railway Sramik League, has been accused of embezzling money from the land around the railway line, filling the soil, selling trees, and digging a fishery. Speakers at the human chain gave a 48-hour ultimatum to remove them.
Locals Mazharul Islam, Limon Chowdhury, Gazi Masud, Nahid, Azizul Islam Shahin spoke at the human chain.
