Rain falls in Chuadanga

Finally, the people of Chuadanga, who were burning in the fierce fire, saw the rain. On Monday (April 24) the drizzle started around 3:30 p.m. After 3 o'clock the level of rain increased. However, it has not yet rained in the district.

The people of Chuadanga had to burn in the intense heat for 19 consecutive days. So the people of this region were waiting like chatak birds for rain. But the sky was cloudy for the last two days. Finally the rain of relief fell today.

Jaminur Rahman, in charge of Chuadanga first class meteorological observatory, said that the temperature has been decreasing for a few days. It will stay for a few days. But after 24 long days it rained in Chuadanga. Earlier on April 1, the district had recorded seven millimeters of rainfall.

The maximum temperature recorded in Chuadanga on Monday was 34.6 degrees Celsius.
