The price of bottled soybean oil has been fixed at Tk 178 for 1 liter and Tk 880 for 5 liters. This price will be effective from tomorrow (October 4).
Bangladesh Vegetable Well Refiners and Bonaspati Manufacturers Association informed this information in a press release on Monday (October 3).
According to the new prices, the price of 1 liter bottled soybean oil will be reduced by Tk 14 to Tk 178 which is now selling at Tk 192, the price of 5 liter bottled soybean oil has been fixed at Tk 880 which is now selling at Tk 945 in the market.
Earlier on Tuesday this year (August 23), the price of bottled soybean oil was increased by Tk 7 per litre.
At that time, the Bangladesh Vegetable Oil Refiners and Banaspati Manufacturers Association proposed to increase the price of soybean oil by Tk 20 per liter.
Earlier, on June 9, the price of bottled soybean oil was increased by Tk 7 to Tk 205 per liter. Earlier on May 5, the price of soybean oil increased by Tk 38 to Tk 198. Besides, the price of five liter bottled soybean oil has been increased to Tk 997.
