Terrorists beat up imam in trivial incident

Identified terrorists of the area beat up Imam Chhabedul Islam in a trivial incident in Kushtia sheep slaughter. He was admitted to Bheramara Upazila Health Complex in a coma. When the condition worsened there, he was admitted to Kushtia General Hospital. Later referred to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital for better treatment.

He is the imam and teacher of the Maktab of Satbaria Gorasthan Jame Masjid in Dharampur Union of Bheramara Upazila.

According to the locals, suddenly during the class last Wednesday at 7 am, Makhles, the son of deceased Nabi Sheikh, the identified terrorist of the area, and Shamim, the son of deceased Aftab Ali, entered the Maktab in a planned manner and started abusing in unspeakable language. When they are forbidden to abuse, they suddenly start fighting. The locals rushed to rescue the imam and quickly admitted him to Vehramara Upazila Health Complex. When the condition worsened there, he was quickly admitted to Kushtia General Hospital. If the condition did not improve there, he was quickly shifted to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital for better treatment.

Imam Chhabedul Islam, who was crying in pain while lying on the bed of Rajshahi Medical College Hospital, said that those terrorists killed me in a trivial incident. They came with a plan to kill me. I filed a written complaint with the Bheramara police station mentioning the names of the accused.
