Use Tech to remove corruption: Munir Chowdhury

Mohammad Munir Chowdhury said these things in a seminar organized on the theme of 'Indomitable Power of Youth: Revolution, Science and Technology' at the National Museum of Science and Technology (NMST) on Tuesday. Mohammad Munir Chowdhury, Director General (DG) of NMST said to the young scientists, time has come; such technology should be invented so that if someone hides the corrupt money, it is possible to uncover it. In order to sustain the success of the regime change that has taken place in the country through the bloody revolution of the youth, the students have to concentrate hard on science practice and research.

We have to make ourselves suitable for running the state. To prevent the huge amount of theft and wastage that is happening in electricity, water and gas sector, the youth should come up with scientific projects. For example, youths should come forward with modern technology to uncover electricity theft in industrial plants by installing relays in meters, recording meter readings, burning meters, spraying chemicals on meters and bypassing meters.

The quality of public service should be improved by utilizing the talent and talent of the youth in the government agencies. However, knowledge has to keep its moral strength as well as advance with science and technology. The country must be freed from the clutches of corruption and temptation and built with the power of honesty; otherwise knowledge, science and the achievements of the youth will fail.

On this occasion, a special science and technology fair was held with young inventors. The winners and best 12 projects of the 44th and 45th Central Science Fair were presented. These are Modern Agriculture Project, Smart EVM Digital Robot, Use of Technology for Temperature Control and Power Outage Prevention and Accident Prevention, Forest and Nature Awareness and Smart Home Automation, Universal Pico Robot, Sanitary Napkin from Water Hyacinth, Dream Design, Future for IOT and Automation, Our Child's Education Management App, Vehicle Accident Control System, Fire Fighting Robot and Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Drone.

Out of these 3 projects were awarded prize.
