Weed was found in the possession of an HSC candidate named Shraban Sarkar in Rupganj of Narayanganj. Weed was found with him during the English 1st paper exam yesterday.
It was know that Executive Magistrate and Assistant Commissioner (Lands) Simon Sarkar sentenced him to six months' imprisonment without labor through a mobile court. Two more students were expelled for cheating and entering the exam center with mobile phones.
In this regard, Rupganj Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Ahsan Mahmud Russel said that one person has been sentenced to prison for entering the examination hall with drugs. Also, two examinees have been expelled for cheating.
