The police recovered a body of a young man named Md Moksedul Haque (22) three days after he went missing in Lama Upazila of Bandarban. The body was recovered from the Champatali area of the Matamuhuri river in the upazila yesterday morning.
Moksedul Haque is the son of Khoka Mia, a resident of Bara Kalarjiri Para of Rupsipara Union of Upazila. Moshiur Rahman, the younger brother of deceased Moksedul Haque, said that Moksedul Haque was swept away by the water current while returning home last Friday afternoon. Lama Police Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md Shamim Sheikh said that Moksedul Haque's body has been handed over to his relatives as no one has complained about the death.
