‍‍`No work for journo in polling center‍‍`

"There are no work for journalists in the polling center. Why you come here" asking the prisiding officer Mohammad Jahangir Alam to a media team yesterday at 7.40 pm in the kamorpur primary school polling center.

There were many visiting journalist teams working for monitoring the 12th parliamentary election that is held on today. As a routine work, 10 journalists reached at the kamorpur primary school polling center, karpasdanda union, Damurhuda upazila, Chuadanga-2 constituency. They met with the presiding officer and he disagreed to talk with them.

When the journalists asked about the polling booth, voter number and electoral circumstances, he informed the informations but remarked that there are no work for journalists inside the election center.

He also suggested journalists to do work from the outside of the centers.

But there are no directives found to keep distance with polling station for the journalists in the last signed guidelines from the assistant director, Ashadul Haque of the election Commission.
