The new top tier of the Chhatra League has been announced. Saddam Hossain took over as president, while Sheikh Wali Asif Enan was named general secretary.
On Tuesday night (December 20), after leaving the Prime Minister`s residence Ganobhaban, Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader announced their identities. Thirteen days after the Chhatra League`s 30th National Conference, the new committee was revealed.
On December 6, the capital`s Suhrawardy Udyan hosted the National Conference of the Chhatra League. However, the meeting did not include an announcement of the new BCL committee. Obaidul Quader, the general secretary of the Awami League, then stated that the new committee would be revealed by December 24.
