The fortune of the toss came in favor of Thailand in the opening match of the Asia Cup on the second ground of the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium. After winning the toss and batting first, the team fell into a batting disaster. The first wicket fell on the fifth ball of the fifth over. The second wicket was lost in the next over.
After that, the 38-run pair of Nattakan-Pannitha tried to resist with a 38-run pair. The Thai women`s innings collapsed like a house of cards when this pair broke. Pannita Maya scored maximum 26 runs. Nattakan scored 20 and Sarnarin scored 10 runs. Besides, no one could touch the two-digit house.
