The main media of children's play is now tab and mobile phone games. They are now terribly addicted to digital games on various devices. Even a few years ago, the sports were gollachut, dariabandha, latim, marble, football, cricket, Ha-Doo-Doo. With the free use of technology, those sports are now just a memory. It can be seen that many children are sitting with mobile phones from home to restaurants or parks. They are not interested in knowing what is happening around them. The teenager who was busy with sports, reading books - especially story books; After learning to use the mobile phone, he is now immersed in various games. He doesn't read books anymore, doesn't want to go anywhere with his parents, spends the whole day on his phone. Psychologists believe that in many families in the Western world, both parents are employed. Both are chasing careers and success. Meanwhile, the child is growing up almost alone. Many a times mothers are using TV, computer, mobile phone and video games to feed the baby and stop crying. With this easy access to computers and mobile phones, the addiction to it is increasing.

Because of games, violent behavior, misbehavior with parents, losing patience, if there is no internet or when the charge of mobile or computer runs out, the incident of becoming restless and panicking is often happening. In a report by the World Health Organization, the harmful use of online games, mobile phones, computer or video games has been identified as a disease. Addiction means not only drugs. Over the years, people around the world have become addicted to the uses of technology, hours upon hours immersed in smartphones, the internet and destructive video games. The global craze for games did not start with the PUBG game.

Previously, people were addicted to numerous unnamed games including Clash of Clans, Monster Hunter World, Dota 2, Vice City, and Hunger Games.

Angry Taiwanese teenager sets himself on fire after being scolded by his father for playing excessive games, young man dies after 22 hours of continuous 24-hour live video game playing, 13-year-old Vietnamese teenager strangles 81-year-old woman on the street and steals her wallet to raise money for online video games And burying bodies in the ground, Chinese couple selling their three children for $9,000 to pay for computer games' - such heartbreaking cases of game addiction have happened a lot in recent years. Psychologists called this addiction to electronic devices a 'digital drug'! The World Health Organization has recently identified severe addiction to video games as a special type of mental illness. This disease is named 'gaming disorder' or 'gaming disease'. A draft document by the agency describes video game addiction as a behavioral problem, a behavior that has all the hallmarks of addiction. Many countries in the developed world, such as Britain, Germany, and China, have separate treatment and rehabilitation centers for video game addiction. There, such addicts are treated like mental patients. Attempts are made to bring them back to a normal healthy life through various treatments including therapy. The number of such addicted people is increasing in all countries. According to the data of the United States Center for Disease Control and Prevention, about 60 lakh children and adolescents between the ages of 4 and 17 in the country are suffering from various complications due to addiction to digital devices. Experts say that in 90 percent of the country's families, mobile phones are the first in the list of children's toys, that is, toy mobiles for unintelligent children and Android mobiles for intelligent children. Watching mobile games or listening to music has become a kind of habit to fulfill the child's attention. As a result, due to mobile phone radiation, serious problems are occurring in children's eyes. According to UNICEF data, one out of every three Internet users in the world is a child. Every day 1 lakh 75 thousand i.e. every half a second a child is being connected to the internet. 25 percent of Facebook users are under 10 years old. 90 percent of all social media users, including Facebook, are between the ages of 18 and 29. In Bangladesh, the number of users, including children, is constantly increasing due to the expansion of the Internet. Jagannath University Associate Professor of Psychology Department. HM Saidur Rahman said device addiction in our lives has a great influence on modern technology. Its scope and intensity are greater in metropolitan cities. Children cannot play sports. Because there are not enough playgrounds in the city. On the other hand, families are not giving enough time to children due to the busyness of our lives and reduced patience. As a result, such problems arise. Parents need to spend quality time with their children. We need to be aware and respond now. Proper use of the device should also be kept in mind. When asked about the overall issue, Restart Mental Health Services, Psychological Counselor, and CEO, Mo Wahid Anwar Rono said that most of the children who come with developmental, mental disorders, autism, behavioral therapy, and other problems are addicted to devices. Their age usually starts from 4. They are not interested in Chinese food to mix with other children. prefers to spend time alone; At the same time, they create a device-centric world. It can be seen that they are addicted to pornography at a very young age. He also said that currently 80 percent of children are addicted to devices and their unrealistic needs are huge.
