DIG Rezaul Karim Mallik appointed as new DB chief
In a major reshuffle in the senior officer level of Bangladesh Police. The information regarding the transfer and posting of 84 officers was announced yesterday in multiple notifications of the Public Security Department of the Ministry of Home Affairs.
The transfer order, sanctioned by the President, was formalised through a notification issued yesterday by Md Mahabur Rahman Sheikh, Deputy Secretary of the Public Security Division under the Ministry of Home Affairs.
The order specified the reassignment of several Bangladesh Civil Service (Police) cadre officers to various positions and workplaces.
The transferred officers are:
Additional DIG (TDS) and currently promoted Supernumerary DIG Mosleh Uddin Ahmed, Tangail PTC Superintendent of Police and currently promoted Supernumerary DIG Abu Naser Mohammad Khaled and Additional DIG (T&IM) and currently promoted Supernumerary DIG Md Akram Hossain at Police Headquarters, Tourist Police SP and currently promoted Supernumerary DIG Sardar Nurul Amin has been transferred as Director (DIG) of Rajarbagh Central Police Hospital, SB Additional DIG and currently promoted Supernumerary DIG GM Azizur Rahman has been transferred to Special Branch.
In addition, Additional DIG of SB and currently promoted to Supernumerary DIG Md Sarwar, Police Superintendent of Chittagong RRF currently promoted to Supernumerary DIG Md Mahmudur Rahman have been transferred to Special Branch.
In another notification, the Public Security Department Police-1 Branch has transferred 16 DIGs in charge of various important units of the police, including RAB Additional Director General (DIG) Imtiaz Ahmed. 16 persons have been attached after transfer.
Among the transferred officers, Special Branch DIG AZM Nafiul Islam and Police HQ DIG Nisharul Arif have been attached to the Anti-Terrorism Unit, RAB HQ Additional Director General (DIG) Imtiaz Ahmed and SBR DIG Md Abdul Qudduch Amin and Industrial Area Police DIG Abul Faiz have been attached to Naval Police after transfer
On the other hand, in this notification, SBR DIG Monirul Islam has been attached to Anti-Terrorism Unit, CID DIG AKM Nahidul Islam has been attached to Police Telecom, SBR Amena Begum has been attached to DIG Highway Police, SBR DIG Monir Hossain has been attached to Industrial Zone Police, Industrial Zone Police DIG Azad Mia has been attached to Highway Police, SBR Moniruzzaman has been attached to Rajshahi BPA. DIG Sarday and Highway Police Md Jamil Hasan has been attached to Anti-Terrorism Unit after transfer.
Besides, DIG Mass Rapid Transit (Metrorail) Md Mahbubur Rahman has been posted as Anti-Terrorism Unit, CID DIG Shyamal Kumar Nath as APBN HQ, Dhaka, DMP Additional Commissioner SM Mostak Ahmed Khan as APBN HQ, Dhaka and PBI DIG Miraj Uddin Ahmed as DIG Railway Police, Dhaka after transfer.
DB Head
DIG Rezaul Karim Mallik has been appointed as the new chief of the Detective Branch (DB) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP). This information was informed in an order signed by Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Commissioner Md Moinul Hasan yesterday afternoon.
17th BCS Batch Officer (DIG) Rezaul Karim Mallik joined Bangladesh Police in 1998. He has performed important duties in various districts including Dhaka. He was also deprived while showing the honesty of the work. This time he got the responsibility as DB chief of DMP.
Posting of 22 Superintendents of Police in DMP
22 officers of the rank of Superintendent of Police working in various police units have been posted as Deputy Police Commissioners in Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP).
The transfer was made in the notification issued by the police-1 branch of the public security department of the Ministry of Home Affairs yesterday.
Deputy Secretary Md Mahabur Rahman Sheikh signed the notification by order of the President.
The Deputy Commissioners posted in DMP are Mohammad Osman Gani, Additional Deputy Commissioner of DMP and currently promoted to the post of Superintendent of Police, Mohammad Taherul Haque Chauhan, Additional Deputy Commissioner of DMP and currently promoted to the post of Superintendent of Police, Md Shamim Hossain, Additional Deputy Commissioner of DMP and currently promoted to the post of Superintendent of Police, Inservice Training,c enter Gazipur Commandant (Superintendent of Police) Md Saleh Uddin, Additional Deputy Commissioner of DMP and currently promoted to the post of Superintendent of Police Md Sarwar Jahan, Additional Superintendent of Police of Shilpana Police and currently promoted to the post of Superintendent of Police Abul Fazal Muhammad Tariq Hossain Khan, Superintendent of Police of Police Headquarters Muhammad Talebur Rahman , PBI Police Superintendent Mohammad Makshuder Rahman, CID Special Police Superintendent Md. Transfer of 19 Superintendents of Police
19 officers of the rank of Superintendent of Police working in various units of Bangladesh Police have been transferred. According to the order of the President, Deputy Secretary of Public Security Department (Police-1 Branch) of the Ministry of Home Affairs yesterday. They were transferred in a notification signed by Mahabur Rahman Sheikh. The notification states that this order issued in public interest will be effective immediately.
