A case has been filed in the name of 90 Awami League leaders and activists and 200 to 250 unknown people with the name of Kishoreganj District Awami League president, brave freedom fighter Zillur Rahman, as the main accused. The case has been filed for assaulting the anti-discrimination student crowd with weapons and triumped murder.
Apprentice lawyer Sujan Mia filed the case at Kishoreganj Sadar Model Police Station yesterday. Kishoreganj Sadar Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mo Golam Mostafa confirmed the matter. Among the notable defendants in the case are Sohrab Uddin, former Member of Parliament of Kishoreganj-2, Rasel Ahmed Tuhin, son of the former president, Mamun Al Masud Khan, former chairman of Sadar Upazila, Juba League leader Al Zubayd Khan Niaz and others.
